Free radio in your BYD — no app, no account, no ads
BYD's Android-based DiLink system gained a web browser — with tab navigation, multi-window support, and saved sites — announced in 2024, though availability varies by market and software update. Newer BYDs with Google built-in (such as the Atto 8 for Europe from Q1 2027 and updated Dolphin Surf and Atto 1 models) can install a browser from Google Play instead. A browser plays web audio, so JSM Radio, a free website that plays internet radio, works on the BYD screen through the browser.
Open JSM Radio in your BYDBookmark it in the browser so it's one tap next time.
How to listen while driving
Park, open the DiLink browser
Open the browser app in DiLink. (It arrived by software update, so availability varies by market and model.)
Go to jsm-radio.com
Type jsm-radio.com in the address bar, and save it so it's one tap next time.
Pick a station, press play
Choose a station by genre, search, or a saved preset — and press play.
Parked-only by design
The DiLink browser is only operable while the vehicle is parked, and driving audio via the DiLink browser is not documented — don't count on the music continuing once you drive off.
Newer Google built-in BYD? Use a Play browser instead
On newer BYDs with Google Play in the car, install Vivaldi (or Chrome/Firefox), open jsm-radio.com in it, and press play before you set off — the browser UI is parked-only, but streaming may continue audio-only once driving starts.

Does your BYD have it?
Does your BYD have it?
DiLink cars with the browser app (market- and update-dependent), plus newer Google built-in models such as the Atto 8 (Europe, from Q1 2027) and updated Dolphin Surf and Atto 1 cars. Not sure? Look for the browser app in DiLink, or for Vivaldi in the car's Google Play — if neither is there, your BYD has no on-screen route yet.
Questions BYD owners ask
Is there a JSM Radio app for BYD?
No — there is no JSM Radio app for the car. The DiLink browser route above (or a Play browser on newer cars) is the way to play it on the car screen.
Does it work with CarPlay or Android Auto?
CarPlay and Android Auto don't allow web browsers, so they can't open a website like JSM Radio. The car's own system and its app store are the route.
Does the music keep playing while driving?
Not documented for the DiLink browser — it is parked-only by design. On newer Google built-in cars via Vivaldi, streaming may continue audio-only once driving starts — press play before you set off.
Is JSM Radio affiliated with BYD?
No. JSM Radio is an independent free website. BYD is a trademark of BYD Company Limited, which does not endorse this site.
