Privacy Policy

Short version: JSM Radio has no account, no sign-in, and collects no personal data about you. The only thing saved is your own presets, on your own device.

What we do not collect

No name, no email, no account, no password, no payment details. JSM Radio sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is nothing to delete on a server, because nothing about you is sent to one by JSM Radio itself.

What stays on your device

Your six presets are saved in your browser's local storage, under the key jsm-music-presets-v1, on your device only. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. The player also remembers, only while the page is open, which Radio Browser server answered last, so the next list loads faster — that memory disappears when you close the page.

"Near me"

Only when you tap "Near me", your browser asks for your location. If you allow it, your coordinates are sent to Radio Browser to find stations within about 150 km, and to Nominatim to show the city name. JSM Radio does not store your location, and if you deny permission the feature simply shows a message instead.

Third parties

Stations and Audius stream audio directly from their own servers. When you play a station, that station's server sees your connection the way any website does (for example, your IP address) — their privacy policies apply to that, not this one. The same applies to Radio Browser and Nominatim when you search or use "Near me".

Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to the site owner via FormSubmit, only so your message can be answered. They are not used for anything else and are not shared. The owner's email address is not shown on the contact page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here. Last updated: November 2, 2026.
